Lionsgate has picked up U.K. rights to Guillaume Canet’s “Blood Ties,” toplining Marion Cotillard.
Pic, which is being shopped by Wild Bunch at Cannes this week, sees Cotillard star alongside Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, Eva Mendes and Mila Kunis.
Canet directs from a script he co-wrote with James Gray, which sees two brothers, each on a different side of the law, face-off over organized crime in 1970s Brooklyn.
